Ladies and Gentlemen,

Whether you are a loyal audience member or a curious newcomer, this year is marked with special excitement as we embark on a 
new exploration. For 15 years, this organization was led to heights by a very energetic and talented conductor, Martín Benvenuto. 
As I step onto the podium, I hope to share his wisdom and zeal that made WomenSing such a success.

 

The past months since our choral season began have been a weekly discovery. We’ve been hard at work, preparing tonight’s 
wild winter celebration with unexpected rhythms and sparkling sounds. Marking the beginning of my musical journey 
with WomenSing, but also looking backwards into other beginnings – mythical stories of apple and knowledge, awakened 
consciousness of a shamaness, a child’s celebration of music or snow, newborn babies with great fates. All this to the beat of a 
drum – a deep reminder of that primal, visceral LOVE of music we all share.

 

I am thrilled that you chose to join us as we uncork an exciting inaugural season. Experiencing choral music is exhilarating and 
we can’t wait to share it with you. Please let us know your impressions after the concert – your involved listening is the most
