Little Stones
International Women's Day Event

About the Concert
A performance of uplifting songs of empowerment and the passion to play a role in the fight for equal rights and end of gender-based violence.
Following the performance, we will screen LITTLE STONES, a documentary that tells the stories of four women around the world, who are using art to empower and educate women and girls in their communities. The title of this beautiful and thought-provoking film, is inspired by a quote from women’s advocate and activist Alice Paul in 1974. In the fight for equal rights and ending violence against women Paul had noted the women’s rights movement was “sort of mosaic. Each of us puts in one little stone.”
In addition to the movie and concert, there will be a reception with desserts and snacks where you can meet the musicians and other audience members.
